Media Advisory/ACCREDITATION: 2016 Royal Tour to Canada of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug 25, 2016) - Their Royal Highness The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will tour Canada from September 24 to October 1, 2016. They will make seven official stops in one province and one territory:

  • Victoria, British Columbia (September 24, 27, 29, and October 1)
  • Vancouver, British Columbia (September 25)
  • Bella Bella, British Columbia (September 26)
  • Kelowna, British Columbia (September 27)
  • Whitehorse, Yukon (September 27 and 28)
  • Carcross, Yukon (September 28)
  • Haida Gwaii, British Columbia (September 30)

Media representatives who wish to cover the 2016 Royal Tour must be accredited in accordance with the normal procedures of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and obtain an ID card.

The application for accreditation can be accessed online at https://www.accreditationcanada.gc.ca/RT-TR2016/. The application must be accompanied by a passport-type photo (jpg or gif format) of the applicant, the applicant's electronic identification picture (jpg or gif format), and a copy of the applicant's assignment letter.

The deadline to apply for accreditation is September 16, 2016. All sections of the application must be completed.

Please specify in which media centre you wish to pick up your ID card. Check the consent box on the accreditation form if you would like to receive further information about the 2016 Royal Tour.
