Canada NewsWire

MONTRÉAL, Aug. 25, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Pointe-à-Callière invites you to the 18th Century Public Market. Over the course of a weekend, the Museum will take you on a journey back to the days of New France, re-creating Montréal's very first public marketplace on the very site where it was held in the year 1700. A not-to-be-missed event in Old Montréal, Pointe-à-Callière's Public Market offers visitors a unique experience featuring historical activities, local products, and participating agricultural producers and craftspeople.

This free activity will be held on Saturday, August 27, from 10 am to 8 pm, and on Sunday, August 28, from 10 am to 6 pm, on Place Royale and in the area around the Museum.
